Volunteers

Sefton Carers Centre Volunteers provide support to carers and staff in a variety of roles. Volunteers provide appointments for holistic therapies and counselling each week day at the Drop-In Centre. Other activities that volunteers participate include meeting and greeting visitors to the Centre and hosting social events including informal coffee groups.

Volunteers who prefer to work in the background provide vital support to the staff. This can include filing, data base input and training administration. The Centre has over 25 volunteers, some who work on a daily basis providing many hours of work and in so doing support carers in their community.
