Listen Your direct Payment can change as your needs change. The way you use your Direct Payment can change if you want it to. Direct Payments are meant to be flexible. After you have been using your Direct Payments for a while you may change your mind. You might decide you don't want them any more. Or you might decide you want to use them in a different way. Or you might want to do more with them.
You can stop having Direct Payments if you want to. You can change the way you use them if you want to. Tell your Social Services if you change your mind.
Sometimes people make mistakes. You do not have to stop having Direct Payments because you make a mistake. Ask for help to sort it out.
From time to time Social Services will check whether your needs have changed. They might change your Direct Payment if they think your needs have changed. You should tell them straight away if your needs go up. Don't wait for a review.
After you have been using Direct Payments for a while you might think of better ways of using it. You might have better ideas. You might want to plan ways of doing things differently. Direct payments allow you to do this. You can change them to suit you.
