You can get help from your local Direct Payments support scheme. There are also books and organisations that can help with all this. Suppose I want to set up a Trust instead of employing people myself? Several people (including you, if you want) can get together and form a Trust. This is a group that can legally make the support arrangements you want. You will still be in control, but the Trust will do the work.
I might want to pay a care agency to provide the support I want. You can still choose the staff who support you, but they will not be employed by you.
You must be able to change any arrangement you make. Your needs may change, or you may want to change the way your needs are met.
